• You don't see the curve until you drag out a neighboring anchor point.
• When you click and drag this neighboring anchor point, watch how the curve is drawn and adjusted as you change the direction and length of this new anchor point.
• Before releasing the mouse on this second point, play with different directions and lengths to see how this affects the curve. Some directions result in your curve having a loop or kink in it. Try to avoid this effect by dragging in the direction you are drawing your curved path.
